999 Seaside Rescue !!!

We had a mini break at the weekend on the remote East Coast near Aldeburgh at the mouth of the River Alde. One would have thought it would have attracted a classier clientele if they'd redeveloped it as the River Waitrose, but still....

Oz wanted to know why we couldn't holiday in the Summer like normal folk but I told him it WAS Summer in Tibet and that seemed to satisfy him. That was a first!

On Sunday we witnessed a dramatic rescue at the foot of Iken Cliffs just below our partially converted stable.

Lily is of course thinking "If he could only stop twatting about with his iPhone for ten minutes, I wouldn't have to keep making out I enjoy getting wet"

Rosie: You didn't watch to the end then?!

Richard: If my iPhone had dropped in the water that WOULD have been a 999 emergency!

Apple shot themselves in the foot 15 years ago so can't bring out their own waterproof cover for the iPhone. They've already used iMac.

You're on fire Richard.

Brave little doggie. She's a heroine. No wonder she was exhausted. She'd have preferred a slice of ham though - oh hang on, that's what the comment box provides!

What's that about a partially converted stable? Did it make you a little hoarse?

(feeding Lily some more ham)

Rog said...

Z: She had some ham with whisked egg.... and we were staying in a Hamlet.

I'm still shaking at how close you were to dropping your beloved iphone.

The trauma, the peril.
