Linking Green

When Timber Nosely invented the Internet all those months ago, one of the key features was the hyperlink which adds depth and cross-reference to a document as goes along.

Do you ever find yourself reading blog posts where the author has overused these links?

Don't you find it really irritating when someone has stuffed their prose chock full of patronising links supposed to go with the text ?

Perhaps there's a special word for them?

I like 'pros' and one of the others too. I don't know who 'text' is though.

I usually don't bother too much with links - but as it was you I knew I should give it a go.
Nice to see Christine again.

I am in accord. I concur.

LOL at Vicus.

Dave: Gregg himself can't even make a pancake. Useless tosser, apparently. And the Text refers to Vernon Kay letting down his lovely sweet wife by texting other women. He's quite well read and enjoys a good trollope.

Karen: Thanks for making the effort. If Christine only had Max Clifford's number she'd have made a fortune.

Vicus: What are you like?!!!

Even though it was amusing, I was still irritated. Funny, that.

what was that chicken stuffed with??

Z: Well that proves my point exactly.

Ziggi: Enthusiasm, I think. Hopefully they remembered to remove the bag of giblets.

I just checked with Google to see if anyone had come up with "Timber Nosely" before and all I got was "Local business results for timber near Noseley, Leicester"

What has happened to that poor chicken? Some people shouldn't be allowed into a kitchen.

Why are some of the words blue?

Sarah: Flippin' Pancake will by my new term of abuse.

Macy: I can't manage Firefox. I've sold my soul to Bill Gates.

Geoff: I can't do Football references but understand a mooning gnome when I see one.

Malc: Not with a camera at the very least!

Dave: Perhaps they are unhappy?

Annie: Glad it's not just me then!

Roses: Capow to you too!
