April Fool stunts produced by large media organizations are normally predictable, patronizing and tedious in the extreme. However, if you haven't already done so, check out the Radio 2 Ken Bruce Show from last Friday 1st April - it's here on iPlayer. You are in for a treat.
The entire morning was carried off in unbelievable style by the uber talented Rob Brydon who kept up a pitch-perfect Ken Bruce impression throughout. It has got to stand as the best April Fool ever and Brydon's impression of Bruce is uncanny and totally extraordinarily. Don't miss the bit where he slates Steve Coogan and "that little bloke with the bad skin" who did "The Trip" with him. Or where he hands over to "Tim" Vine at the end.
