Shitegeist

Other bloggers are dropping like flies at a Michael Barrymore Party but I have to say that this blog is as influential as ever!!!

Well, I read the article, but I'm none the wiser as to who any of these children are.

Rumours of the demise of my blog have been greatly exaggerated.

No matter how bad Whiley is at least she's a music fan (ELO are her favourite band, you know). Fearne Cotton for gawdsake!

I said bloggers are dropping like flies, too. On Twitter.

Dave: Jo whiley is older than me mentally. So the rumours about your blog aren't true then?

Geoff: I hadn't got to the bit about Fearne Cotton I must confess...I just saw the headline and rushed off to open a bottle of wine. I seem to remember Fearne interviewing the Dustman on X-Factor - I will be posting about her very soon.

OK clever Dick.
Now get rid of Jonathan Ross, Tory (er Terry) Wogan and (no surprises) Chris Evans - *gargles with Listerine*.
Congratulations.

I can tolerate Fearne Cotton. With the mute button on. But that won't work on radio now will it?

Like Dave, I have no idea who these people are. Unlike Dave, I am wiser. Are you suggesting there is some sort of connection between the machinations of Radio 1 bureaucrats and the disappearance of blogs? Are the writings of Patroclus, for example, seen as a threat to the power of the BBC and she is being driven from the electric internet under threat of having to listen to Abba? I think we should be told.

Scarlett: You left the "S" off of "ick".

Kaz: I'm working on Evans - je suis sur la valise. It has occurred to me that if Radio One respond to the tastes of 60 year olds they are in serious trouble as the average 20 year old thinks Moyles is a conservative old fart.
I really just really wanted the brilliant BBC TV coverage of summer festivals to be lanced of the festering presence of what Mr Scurra would describe as the "empty-headed dollops of vacuity" currently ruining it.

Mr London: Perhaps you should listen on the PC and mute the sound. Might be in danger of verging on sad tho!

Ziggi: JP would have to be interred. (That sounds like he's guesting on the Chris Evans Prog)

Vicus: You should already be well familiar with the true power of blogs. You single handedly got Boris elected and your secret marriage to Anne Widdecombe has held us all in awe.
