Tinker Two

As previously discussed, Mrs Rine (aka little nana) is oop north in the wilds of deepest Lancashire as her Ma (Big Nana) fell off a step ladder and broke her foot. It possibly makes her a step-mother, but last night another addition to the Dysentry appeared in Lancaster Infirmary after Big Al did a 120mph dash along the Heysham By-Pass. If I'd been in the car I'd have probably had twins myself, although I am holding off getting pregnant until the swine flu blows over.

Anyway, here's Miniscule Nana, a sister for Olivio. She is being called Lydia, so my suggestion of Flora has gone by the board. I thought Olivio and Flora would have been cool, zeitgeisty low-fat names.

a fresh one to play with, lovely :)

I can't believe she's not Flora!

She's lovely - but I can't believe you're not bitter.
(about being left alone that is)

One of my nieces was given the same name as the model of car that I was driving at that time. As I can't be bothered to add to the catalog of plays on words on non-dairy spreads, I suspect that no-one will bother to speculate on the name of said relation.

It's a bit tough calling your niece Robin, Vicus.

Scarlett: I'll suggest it. She could say "Hide Rog 'n I's Fat"

Ziggi: There's a joke about that that that only works in a Welsh accent - "I don't know about you but I'm beginning to come to terms with my incredulity".

Kaz: I'm manfully soldiering on, eating, drinking, watching blokey TV, mountain biking....

Vicus: Minx, Imp, Rover, UlriKA ? I hope it was more successful than the Ford Edsel.

Dave: At least it's reliable Rodney.

"Lydia, oh Lydia, oh have you met Lydia?" - one of my favourite songs. Marvellous.

Congratulations to all.

Lovin' the spread jokes but can't think of one....why do new borns always look like something out of Madam Tussaurds? she will be beautiful in a week!

Z: That's what Mr & Mrs Dustbin said.

Sarah: There is a slight Michael Jackson resemblance now you mention it....

Congratulations! and I think you're quite right to put off pregnancy for a bit. Are your periods just as heavy as ever?

I hope Vicus never drove the MR2, especially in France. Sounds even worse as a spread...

'Manfully soldiering on' - would you like me and Ziggi to come and cook for you?
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha !!!
No - we like you too much :O)

You missed Polly. (Works if her/his middle name is Unsaturate - admittedly, a bit of a mouthful...but then, if it lowers the cholesterol, who'd complaining???)

Christopher: I have moody periods. Vicus drives a Coach and Horses - through good taste.

Kaz: You could pop round with Ziggi and Z. There's be so many "Z's" I'd fall asleep.

Mort: Spookily "Unsaturate" was in the final 10 for middle names, along with "Glot", "Vinylchloride" and "JHarvey".
