A Nice Pair of Lilies

Here's a weekend looky-likey competition and it's a right little poser.

I'm struggling to spot any of the differences myself.

Who is Lily Allen?

One's a dog on its back.

You asked for that, didn't you?

Rog said...

Dave: No I'm reminded of Dave (may your God go with you) Allen.

Geoff: Both Lilies look so relaxed I thought. And having an L of a time.

I'd by the album by the top dog.

Scarlet: She's thinking of doing an album with the bard of Barking.

That's Oz that is.

You could ask them both to bark in tune - then you'll know which is which.

Do a nipple count. If it's got more than three it's your one.

Rog said...

Kaz: Our Lily has a pleasant little singing voice but a deep throaty bark when roused. Sadly so does Harry Enfield's daughter in law.

Richard: Well you live and learn!

Richard said...

The kids, Rog, I'm down with them.

Frightening Richard.

The 'L' is a different shape!

John: Thanks for distracting attention from the nipple issue.

This link from the grauniad guide:

Apparently this chap's remixed Lily Alien's "It's not me" LP, "distorting her vocals and coming up with completely new arrangements; Allen now sounds dark, majestic and a bit creepy." The whole thing can be downloaded free, apparently.

Let me know if it's any cop....

Mort: The king is Mort, mort is the king! I think the link is less majestic than creepy, in fact I'm warming to the Lilster. Probably her session backers make the records sharp and full of life...without them she sounds like karaoke night.
