Meerkat Forces

Dave posted some pictures of birds today and reported having difficulty telling a bird from a Meerkat. I don't wish to speak out of turn but suspect that his social life may be somewhat diminished by this inability. He should join the Foreign Birds Society and adopt a Cheeky Girl like my hero Lembit Opik. A little Chickadee would perk him up a treat, although he'd be well advised to steer clear of the Thrush.

I must admit that we occasionally have a problem telling Lily, our PBGV, from a Meerkat but find this instructional video quite useful:

Thank you, Rog. I've often wondered. Have you thought of submitting Peakster Productions to film festivals? Or would that be opening a Cannes of worms?

Surely Rosie means 'simpleser'?

This has only made things worse.

Rosie: A mere kat doesn't beat a mere dog!

Christopher: Cannes is in France and Worms in Germany. I may sit back and wait for Anal Botney to come and do a BBC2 Documentary on me.

Tim: It's Orlov I'm afraid.

Dave: It's a complete Cannes of Worms.

Sorry Chris, I meant Alan Yentob.

Now I have diabetes I'm thinking of switching to a Diet of Worms.

Dave: As recommended by Frederick III the Unwise?

Are you implying Dave flits from bush to bush? or have I missed the point?

Rog said...

Sarah: He's a very Privet person.

What have you all been up to while I was out to lunch?

Dave said...

I hope you weren't on a diet of worms too, Z.

Rog said...

Z: I've been, er, working. I'm not a big fan of Spaghetti.

Z said...

No, Dave. Like the younger Pliny, I prefer snails.

I watched the video and could only see meerkats and dogs - no birds. Does this mean I need to adjust the settings on my new pc?
