For Ziggi

It's Samhain or Gaelic Harvest Festival and we are entering the darkest third of the year.

It's only about 7 weeks until the Winter Solstice when light starts to gain the advantage once again and days start to get longer but in the meantime we all should simply hold cyber-hands and pray to our chosen Gods for peace and good health. The ancient people of the stone age must have felt that if they went through their rituals the warmth and daylight would return.

On which note I would urge you all to pop over and say hello to the lovely Ziggi who is fighting a difficult battle against Cancer which she can still win. She's over on the right in my blogroll.

For anyone who has set up their own blog pretending to be someone suffering from Cancer, then I refer you to the respondent's riposte in Arkle v Pressdram.

I've visited hon. No one should ever do this alone, and you're absolutely right about the rest of it.

Indeed, and I have visited and have laid claim to any unwanted chocolate.

Arkell vs Pressdamm? If only Ziggi was making it up too.

But in the real world, for what it's worth, I'm sending her genuine best wishes.

Just popped over to leave my best wishes with Ziggi. There are worse things than having a cyber-hand to hold. Nice post, Rog.

I'm on my way. We certainly benefited from help, kindness and positivity over the last year.
