I saw this on Have I Got News For You, Rog. Hilarious. We had a Springer/Collie cross who would have fitted the bill perfectly, too.

My response would be to shoot the fool who let the dog off-leash and then send the dog for re-training.
But perhaps I'm just in a cranky mood because my neighbour's yapster is home-alone-and-barking. Again.
I'm sure Oz would never behave like this.;-)

Ned always came. Always bloody came, every time you yelled "hee-uh".
He ws a star.

No dog answers his name though.... duh...

I'm a little unclear. Are you the rampaging Fenton, one of the terrified deer, the desperate dog owner, the smug cameraman, of the driver who probably shat himself when the deer ran in front of him....

Martin: Our late Collie Cross could have a mind of his own when rabbits were about.

Mig: Er, no of course not :-} You could download the Barking Chronicles from Yapster.

Macy: No I think the dog here's it as "Go Fenton". You don't get good dogs you get good owners!

Nota: I am clearly and certainly the rampaging loon shouting "Jesus Christ" and the dog's name. I have so been there.

Christ, my dog was scared of sheep and used to run in the opposite direction, and he was a GSD. I'd still be doing the yelling though.

Well it must have made the camera person's day. And the dog's.

Not me btw, shooting the man, I'd have sent him to training school and the dog to a boot camp.
Nutmeg was never off his lead when I took him out because I knew he wouldn't come back if I called him - yes I've been there too before I learnt my lesson. (Though I'm pretty sure if he'd seen a deer he'd have come back sharpish of his own accord to hide behind me)

Mig: Woops. Nutmeg sounds a lovely dog name anyway.

I have owned disobedient dogs in the past but I would never have let them off the lead somwhere like that. Fenton's owner is clearly a berk.
