Lactose Intolerant

Yesterday I saw Laura Trott, Nicola Adams and Jade Jones on a bus together!

Our Olympic stars were not in person, of course, but on the side of a bus. Sporting Olympic sized "milk moustaches". Advertising , er, milk.

I'd really like to meet the agency who decided milk moustaches would look "cool" and explain that they are quite the most revolting sight ever. I'm personally never going to drink milk again.

I haven't drunk milk since I was about 5. I just don't like the taste of it. My Mum had to write a letter to my school asking that I be excused from drinking that ridiculous little bottle of milk that was inflicted on primary school children every day before Mrs Thatcher cancelled it.

I'm sure my husband will be along later to deliver his lecture about it being unnatural for adults to drink milk.

As promised, I am here to point out that it is not natural to drink.milk after one has been weaned. It does not occur in any other species. It's wrong. Ugh!

moustaches seem to be the in thing though, right now. I can't imagine why. I think you have to be under 25 to get it. My girls sport moustache earings, they look eh, like moustaches. I personally am never going to wear a moustache again.

Zig - lots of people sport a moustache for charity during November, or Movember as it is known if you support certain cancer charities.

Liz: I was so posh I took a little sachet of strawberry milk shake to school every day and mixed it in the bottle.

Sir B: Not that you're a bitter man....

Zig: And people under 25 can't grow proper moustaches!

Liz: I'd have been more impressed with a Mohican for Movember

Z: Cheese must be good. There's lot of it round here.

Sav: Ah, but do you take sugar in coffee milk?!

Martin: It's almost passed your eyes!

There's nothing wrong with wearing a milk coloured moustache. Mine's been that colour for a decade or so.

And Sir Bruin - what about hedgehogs? They're supposed to drink cows' milk direct from the cow. I suppose when the cows are lying down, otherwise it would be difficult for the hedgehogs. The cows probably always consider it a bit difficult.

Like milk teeth, milk moustaches are only for tiny tots.
