A Tibetan Writes.....

It was a great day yesterday as the bipeds took me and my big sister Lily to what was known as a "blogparty". I was expecting it to be a British Indie rock concert but it turned out to be a biped-get-together at the wonderful Ben's House in the Countryside. Ben is a gorgeous big retriever with heartmelting eyes and an attractive playful nature but as he was 17 times bigger than me I don't really think I stood a chance of catching his attention. He referred to me as a "shortarse" which must be a sub-classification of Tibetan Terrier. My sister Lily was eyeing up a fairly boring beagle who didn't seem to be very interested.

Our bipeds, normally sociophobes, don't go out very much but really seemed to relish Ben's Party and we were able to mingle freely under the tables whilst enormous quantities of very tasty food were passed around and some naturally came our way. Ben is really clever and reckons he knows how to open the fridge door to access proper food, so I did get him to explain some of his techniques to me. When we got home I tried one of them out:

Yes indeed, it was very fine to meet you, Holly. It was also good to meet your staff again. I'm happy to see that they have provided you with transport that is far more classy than that van they made ride around in.

I can't open those gates, Holly, I hope you'll teach me the trick in exchange for Ben's tips about fridge opening. Lily stole his attention at the time, but I think your hard-to-get attitude is the way to keep him on his toes.

Holly is a heart throb. Lily is luscious.
Your bipeds are quite nice too and I enjoyed seeing them again.
(I really don't believe you got all of that technique from Ben but it was nice of you to say so.)

Hi Holly! I'm very impressed with the gate escapade. It'd stop a child, but how they expect it to slow a smart young Tibetan down is beyond me. See you again next year! Indigo

The Gate Escape - they should make a film about that.
Holly and Lily you're so lovely - it was so good of you to bring Rog and Paff to the party, I had to scrounge a lift because Bailey is busy digging, Bertie is helping and Indi isn't old enough to have a vote. It was really lovely to see you all and I think we should have a party down here

ps Indi can't open the gate but she can jump over it!
