Cranks

Yesterday I cycled to the Post Office.

It took me nearly 4 hours. I know the queues can be a problem but it was really the fact that I made it a 31 mile round trip to practice for next Sunday's Suffolk Coast Charity Bike Ride which will be 60 miles. I was like Badly Wigged in Le Tour but without the blistering sideburns (or the blistering pace).

Fortunately you can share my pain from the comfort of your chez longues by popping over HERE and donating a couple of quid. Or you can even just text PEAS60 £xx to 70070 if you have one of those new fangled mobile phone devices. You have to change xx to an actual number apparently.

Thanks to all the heroes and heroines who've already generously chipped in and thereby assured that I've actually got to go through with this madness. I'll keep you posted.

Rog - we don't know how far South you will be cycling along the Suffolk Coast, but Ann says if you pedal within striking distance of us, you and Paff (your support team ?) will be very welcome to call in for lunch. Make sure you have our 'phone number so that we can lay in some sustaining provender.
Regards, Mike and Ann.

XX's are token kisses, right? I shall waft some your way for luck, which you'll certainly need if you ride that machine! ;-)
