The weather is a bit more changeable at this time of year. This stunningly bright Rainbow was in our back garden on Sunday afternoon.
Then this morning, it was a proper frost. It seems like a year since we had a proper frost.
The heeby-Jeeby was exhibiting nature's clever way with camouflage and colouring, blending in with the straw and winter grasses perfectly. If she didn't stick her tongue out she'd be totally invisible....
...That is, until she kicks off and does her "Sammy the Seal" barking.
A year since you last saw frost???? A whole YEAR? Chiz.. We've been crunching across frozen fields up here since October. The novelty had well worn off by bonfire night...
I love the light at this time of year. The other day I was driving down the A12 so busy thinking how beautiful it was..... The sun behind me lighting up the coppery trees, like beacons against the slate grey, stormy sky beyond.....that a Dutch lorry nearly sent me spinning into the central reservation..
Sarah: The Dutch Lorry driver could just have been diverted by your ravishing beauty. Have you considered that!
Richard: I would be barking!
Kaz: Sadly no, although it looks like she was in the movie. Unlike human females, she can only do one thing at a time and that is normally following rabbit trails across counties!
Z: Thank you Z ... most kind.
Jon: Thanks Jon. The atmosphere around Lily is not ALWAYS sublime!
I,also, must compliment you on your pictures. Well, when I say, "Must", it is not like I am obligated to. I suppose it is more of an optional thing really.

I think there's nothing I can add.
Seal?
But we're never gonna survive unless we get a little crazy.
Honk honk.

Dave: Sounds like Hound-ded!
Geoff: Better than Billy Bragg at least!
Macy: I suppose that's why they call it the frozen North. I'm a bit concerned about the Orange Trees in our garden now!
Please quote for incorporating Lil's bark played fortissimo with automatic our security light system.

That is no way to describe Mrs Rine's voice
I enjoyed those pics.
Is Lily allowed off her lead these days?
They're lovely pictures, Rog.
The frost and mist makes for some lovely shots. Really nice atmosphere.
Christopher: 25 quid!

I,also, opt to compliment you on your pictures.
I'm waffling, aren't I?
Thanks Sir B. Funnily enough we had waffles last night and I had to solicit condiments.
