The truth about Meerkats and Dogs

The other day I looked out the back window to watch the birds feeding from the garden table and was greeted with this sight:

The stange fossicking creature in the garden reminded me of something and I couldn't quite place it....

And then suddenly I could....

Have you tried feeding her?

Nice video by the way. Very professionally done.

You really must get out a little bit more.

How did you do that at the end?
Or was it just Oz in his first starring role?

Dave: Thanks. Lily needs someone to tell her when to stop eating. Much like myself.

Richard: Many a true word....

Kaz: It's the most animated Oz has been around here for a while!

Want to collaborate on a sketch show series, Rog?

Although I think we may be a little too old.

Our dog Huckleberry always ate the bird food. In the end, my mother put a half-loaf in the crook of a tree. So Huckleberry sat under the tree barking to frighten the birds away.

Later, he took up lumberjackery.

Robert: And enjoy your fosicking!

Geoff: There's always been a gap since the Not 9 O Clock News Geoff. Get your people to set it up with my people.

Z: Barking to de-barking?

Hmm....the strange creatures that inhabit your house - and head.

Most disturbing.

Could you not fix Lil up with some sort of harness attached to a helium balloon? Or a Lilicopter? Or the sort of thing they had in Jetpac? I suppose if you just put her food on the ground the birds would eat it?

I can see where you are coming from Christopher, but Rog might be caught in a Hene type publicity stunt if he does that to Lily!

Christopher said...

Yes, there's that. And perhaps you don't have an attic?

Rog said...

Roses: I hope you're not talking about Mrs Rine!

Mrs Rine & Christopher: I've no idea what you're talking about! I thought Helium was the French word for hospital.
