We're all Going on a Summer Holiday

When we were in Dorset last week we visited this place twice. First on a gloomy day:


And then on a Sunny Day:


I couldn't help feeling a strange connection with this young whippersnapper who will turn 70 next month:


Could it be because he's called Cliff and these are Cliffs?

Could it be the gnarled appearance with vegetation still somehow clinging to the top surface?

Could it be the haunting Shadows in the Background?

In the end I decided that the location would be an excellent title for Sir Cliff's next Album, acknowledging for the first time his "real" name of Harry Webb.

You can't fool me. You've reversed the image in that second photo, haven't you, to make it look as if you'd walked right round the headland.
