Kaz

(Reposted with the help of Z and no help at all from Blogger!)

I may have mentioned that I'm cycling 175 miles next week across the Pennines on "The Way of the Roses".

It's longer and steeper than last year's C2C Route and I'm not getting any younger, so I thought I'd try and make this one a bit more useful by seeking sponsorship in aid of Ovarian Cancer Action in memory of our much missed Blogger heroine Kaz .

Yes, yes, I know it's a pain in the arse (well it will be after 175 miles in a saddle) but it's a good cause!

If you'd like to pop in a small donation, however small, please nip over to here:

If you know any Kazfans and can pass on the link to them I'd very much appreciate it.

Thanks for your help

(Thanks to all the brilliant people who have donated so far!)

I got as far as the verifying stage and then it went into melt-down.

Can I send you a cheque?

It worked... I don't think my broadband speed could cope with the radio being on at the same time as donating!

That's twice I've used my PayPal account in a week! I'd only ever bought The Singing Detective soundtrack before.

We'll be cheering you on, Rog.

Brilliant idea Rog. Suggest you take copious amounts of Battenburg to sustain you!

Macy yer a wee star! Thanks for chipping in.

The donations now include heart attack victims and people who've this week been made redundant after 25 years. I'm humbled by your participation. It is warming my rye and bringing a tear to my cockles!

Thanks for proving that blogging can occasionally hit gold and lift its gaze from its ow navel.

As St Robert Geldof once said "Give us yer folk in money"

Just remembered my Mum did the coast to coast on foot. She also did the Pennine Way twice. Sadly I'm more like my father. I hope you have cushioned shorts.

My email address is in my Blogger Profile.

Could you pop me a line and let me know if I can send you a money order as I don't do online donations, etc.

p.s. I'm in Canada so is there still time for the donation to reach you?
