The Earliest Blog Meet in the World

In the Summer of Love in 1967 I was still at School in the 6th Form and a that other leading East Angularian Blogger Dave was a tiny child in the first or second year whom we used to play rugby with. Unless we could find a proper ball, of course.

I've finally got hold of the famous Bullingdon Club Photo from 1967 and you can clearly see both of us on it. The only trouble is, I can't remember Dave before he had a beard and worked in the Insurance (Third Party Fire & Brimstone) Industry.

Can anyone spot the suave debonair good looking me and the tiny wrinkled little scrote from the remove?

Ok I know it's a tough one - I'm in pic 5. But "Where's Wally?"

The teacher sitting just below me went on to become the keyboard player in "Sparks"

That is brilliant, Rog. I can hardly wait for Dave to show himself to us as the second most good-looking boy in the school.

Picture 2, lowest row, last on right (also pic 3, lowest row, second on left - there's an overlap)

I thought Dave might appear twice, but as the legendary lad on the extreme left, who, as the camera panned left to right, nipped round the back to appear again on the extreme right.

Ah, maytime in Kent! The cherry blossom, the Dusmo, the Brylcreem, the TCP, the unmasked sweat glands, the Player's Navy Cut, the formalin, the chalk dust...and that's just the staff.

Oh you call it the remove too. Not many do. By coincidence I mentioned Wally today too. I've no idea who is who. or whom.

Z: Nor can I!

Dave: Ah! What a studious little fellow!

Chris: That was always discussed but never actually achieved. You've taken me right back with your wordy painting.

Nota: We didn't really but I read a lot of Frank Richards. As did master East.

Dave: Has that Postal Order arrived you rotter?

Sarah: Yes that was my fab 4 period.

Z: That was below the belt!

Dott: We don't like heavy sarcasm round here. Unless you are astonished that I'm older than Dave....

Zig: That's the ghost of Christmas Past
